where we're focusing now:
Because of the broad scope of UNRWA's work, we focus our fundraising and outreach activities on a few programs where our support can provide the greatest benefit to the agency.
While many of our campaigns span multiple years, others change frequently depending on the needs of UNRWA and the Palestine refugee population. Please check back regularly to see what we’re working on!
All donations made through UNRWA USA are tax-deductible.
Despite relentless efforts to attain new funding from other countries and donors, UNRWA still needs $217 million to sustain its work for 2018. As a result, UNRWA's 711 schools may not open this September.
What's at risk is the education, stability, and future of 526,000 refugee children who are already facing tremendous adversity and challenges.
Every human deserves equal access to basic services no matter what context they live under. If you believe education for refugees is a right, not a privilege, please support our efforts to keep UNRWA classrooms open.
This Ramadan, create a lifeline for Palestine refugees by providing UNRWA food assistance to families in the Gaza Strip. Nearly one million Palestine refugees in Gaza depend on UNRWA for food assistance, given four times a year to families living under the poverty line. Food assistance is a lifeline; please help UNRWA provide it.
With the United States government’s decision in January 2018 to cut funding to UNRWA by $300 million, the Agency faces an unprecedented funding crisis and millions of Palestine refugees could lose access to UNRWA services.
It's going to take all of us standing together to fund UNRWA's work so the Agency can continue serving Palestine refugees.
Help us meet the most urgent needs of Palestine refugees affected by the devastating effects of the protracted crisis in the occupied Palestinian territory.
