Please join The Jerusalem Fund and UNRWA USA on Wednesday, August 15 for a special talk given by Mohammed Eid, a 28-year-old Palestine refugee, who grew up in Rafah camp in the Gaza Strip, where UNRWA provides services.
Mohammed is currently a Rotary Fellow pursuing a master's degree in Global Studies and International Development through a joint program at the University of North Carolina and Duke University.
During this talk, Mohammed will share his story of what life is like living and growing up in Gaza and the role UNRWA played in his life.
Guests are welcome to arrive early for light fare and sandwiches served at 12:30. Mohammed's talk will be followed by a question and answer session. If you are unable to attend the event in person, the talk will be live streamed and recorded.
