We invite you to attend the ‘Conflict over Gaza: People, Politics, and Possibilities’ conference, hosted at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, where UNRWA USA’s Program Manager, Lori Mosher, will be in attendance. The conference aims to shed light on the current realities in the Gaza Strip, giving participants a deeper understanding of the context and offering concrete options that can better the lives of people there.

One of the conference organizers and speakers is former UNRWA USA intern Mohammed Eid, a Palestine refugee who grew up in Rafah camp in the Gaza Strip, where UNRWA provides services. A graduate of UNRWA schools and a prior UNRWA employee, Mohammed is now a Rotary Peace Fellow pursuing a master's degree at UNC and Duke University.

This conference is a unique opportunity to connect with Lori and Mohammed and to hear from many other distinguished speakers who are experts on the devastating situation in Gaza. It is free and open to the public, though registration is required.
