The Mission of Norway to the United Nations, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and Education Cannot Wait are pleased to invite you to a panel discussion entitled “An UNRWA Education: Advancing UN Values.”
 
The panel will feature:

  • H.E Ambassador Mona Juul, Permanent Representative of Norway to the United Nations

  • Mr. Pierre Krähenbühl, UNRWA Commissioner-General

  • Ms. Yasmine Sherif, Director, Education Cannot Wait  

  • Hanan Abu Asbeh and Hatem Hamdouna, Palestine refugees and members of the Agency-wide Student Parliament, elected to represent over 526,000 UNRWA students.

Panelists will discuss UNRWA’s innovative education programme, as well as the impact of this critical investment in the human development of Palestine refugees and stability in a fragile region. Presentations will be followed by an interactive “Question and Answer” period.
