In honor of World Refugee Day (June 20), UNRWA USA will host a special edition of Let's Talk UNRWA. In this ninth installment of the live talk show series, host Abby Smardon (Executive Director, UNRWA USA) will welcome Rania Qawasma (now based in Seattle, WA) and Ahmed Arafat (now based in Pittsburgh, PA) to share their experiences as Palestine refugees in the Middle East as well as here in the United States.
Rania and Ahmed are both steering committee members of the newly established UNRWA Alumni Association (USA) which will be publicly launch on June 20 — tune in to the show to learn more about the association and how to join.
