Meet Sadeel, a 15 year old who headed her UNRWA school parliament in Jalazone refugee camp, and is an aspiring medical student!

with your help, we can fund the future of palestine.

Higher education provides a pathway to economic and social stability for Palestine refugees.

However, the cost of a university education is prohibitive for many students as their families are living on less than $3 a day.

Many students who graduate from high school with high grades cannot afford to enroll in a university without scholarship help.

But with your help, we are changing this.

Option 1:

fund a full tuition scholarship

Your support will provide a full scholarship to a student living and studying in an area of your choosing.

Here's what your money can do:

  • $3,520 will fund a full four-year scholarship to a Palestine refugee student living and studying in Syria.

  • $11,000 will fund a full four-year scholarship to a Palestine refugee student living and studying in Gaza or the West Bank

If you are interested in becoming a full-tuition sponsor, download this pamphlet which includes pricing, or donate here. You can contact Abby Smardon at abby@unrwausa.org or 202-223-3767 to discuss your options in further details.

Option 2:

donate any amount to the university scholarship fund

Here's what your money can do:

  • $100 can cover books for a student for one semester

  • $450 can cover one semester’s tuition for a student in Syria

  • $1,250 can cover one semester's tuition for a four-year degree

  • $2,750 can cover one semester's tuition for a medical student

Your contribution will provide scholarships that cover the costs of university tuition to Palestine refugee students who would otherwise be unable to afford a university education.
